Image Engine uses Amazon Web Services and their SSAE16 compliant data centers providing high availability power, connectivity, humidity control, and cooling.
Security for the Image Engine network is guarded by a high availability Checkpoint firewall and intrusion detection system. This system is monitored at the Quasar Network Operations Center (NOC) for availability and security threats on a 24 by 7 basis.
Image Engine's environment is a hardened SAS 70 Type II and HIPAA compliant facility. All air handling and power is redundant. Power has feeds from two grids, UPS power for short term outages and two Diesel generators capable of providing for long term outages (up to two weeks). There are multiple tier 1 data providers with POPs directly connected to the facility.
All Image Engine machines are backed up continually using the Idera CDP (Continuous Data Protection) backup system. Backups are maintained locally at the data center and replicated hourly offsite to the Image Engine headquarters data center.
